‚ÄòA Race to Prayer’ is a children’s book for 6-9 year olds. It focuses on the second pillar of Islam; the prayer and illustrates how important it is to pray on time.It follows the frustrations of a typical 8 year old Muslim boy who can‚Äôt play football because it raining; can‚Äôt go to the stadium because the car breaks down and can‚Äôt see his bike win at the quad bike races because it‚Äôs time for him to pray. Each obstacle is overcome but it takes a dramatic event in the stadium to teach him the value of praying on time.
