This is a Paper Quilling project or also called paper filigree art. We used thin paper strips that we rolled individually, shaped, and glued them together to create designs. A quill tool and a wooden dowel was used to create the coil shape. The coiled shapes were looped, twisted, curled, and glued to desired appearance. Then we arranged and manipulated the shaped coils to make our scenery. It took us 3 months to finish the project. The artwork is 17*21 inches.
