Parallel Child is an online hyper-literature story. The project is presented as a text-based story, set alongside imagery and interactive elements. The story tells of a senior school student, struggling with decisions about his future and direction. Suddenly a group of unusual figures (who know too much about him) appear. Will this cast of characters help or harm him in his journey? The story is one of self-discovery and the Islamic process of Istekhara. This project is a work in progress and is expected to release in late 2022
