Created in 2016 and then revised in 2022, “the tree of mentorship” expresses the perfect harmony between a teacher and his student, a parent and a child, the elderly and the youth, as a tall tree with 2 trunks that join at a common stem. The elderly (teacher) is like the trunk of this tree which has branches mainly of fruits, fruits of wisdom, experience, and direction; but few leaves. Whilst the youth (student) is like the trunk predominantly having leaves, leaves of exuberance and energy but few fruits. Together they make the perfect tree. Each trunk needs the other.
