My instagram is a travel and creative lifestyle blog of my life as a North African Muslim medic and artist. Salamsanctuary is a name I came up with to represent how my spirit longs for peace through creativity and discovery. Salam – meaning peace, in Arabic. And sanctuary, a safe place in an ever increasing chaotic world. My presence aims to inspire a commitment to creating and travelling, despite life’s pulls, pressures and judgements especially as a young Muslim woman.
