Project Overview: The objective poem, “Sustainability in Modernism” was composed by Aathika Tanyeem Eajaz (myself) in the year 2017. It discusses the role of architecture in sustainably modernizing our planet, “Earth”. It emphasizes the significance of global adherence to the principles of sustainable development. The poet strongly advocates the worldwide implementation of ideologies and programs that take cognizance of social justice, environmental health, economic development, and the needs of future generations. Project Justification: The contemporary world demands art and literature, which can create environmental awareness. This poem inspires the readers to make efforts towards environmental protection regardless of their profession.
