Amina had always dreamed of having a pet, and on her tenth birthday, her parents surprised her with a small, fluffy kitten. She named him Simba, after the brave lion in her favorite story. From that day on, they were inseparable.
Amina had always dreamed of having a pet, and on her tenth birthday, her parents surprised her with a small, fluffy kitten. She named him Simba, after the brave lion in her favorite story. From that day on, they were inseparable.
Simba followed Amina everywhere—while she did her homework, played in the garden, and even when she curled up in bed at night. He had a habit of knocking over her books and stealing her pencils, but Amina didn’t mind. She loved him with all her heart.
One stormy evening, as rain poured heavily outside, Amina heard a faint meowing. Simba was missing! Panic surged through her as she searched the house. Then, she saw the open window. Grabbing a flashlight, she ran outside.
“Simba!” she called, her voice trembling. A soft cry came from the bushes. There he was—wet and shivering. Amina scooped him up and hugged him tightly.
Back inside, she wrapped him in a warm towel and held him close. As he purred softly in her arms, she whispered, “Don’t scare me like that again.”
Simba blinked at her, as if promising to always stay by her side.
