The History Connections Middle School homeschool curriculum spans from grade 5-8 and covers global history infused with Islamic history over 4 eras. The topics are approached through IDEALS, integrating SEL and an Islamic world perspective, whilst teaching important academic skills of the future, hands-on activities and differentiated learning. Each level, spanning 30 weeks, is directed at the student, and comes with maps, posters and a parent guide. Maps are traced by hand and an interactive part of the lesson plan. Skills taught are outlining, summarizing, note-taking, mind-mapping, infographics, biographies etc. Extra resources are provided at the end of each lesson.
